The Thai COVID-19 Cohort Study – MU Household is conducted in Bangkok, Thailand and led by the University of Mahidol. It builds upon the RECOVER household study from the Netherlands. Adapted to the Thai context, it aims to enhance understanding of SARS-CoV-2 variant transmission dynamics, particularly involving children. Data collection includes Antigen Testing Kit (ATK) results, nasopharyngeal/throat swabs, and plasma samples, with household members recording daily symptoms via an app or phone over a 21–day period.
